The parks and open spaces blend in effortlessly within a mixed-use development plan including: eateries and bars, a skating rink and children’s center, three world-class museums, a theater and performance arts center, and a shopping center.  Each facility is anchored at strategic locations to maximize the traffic flow and public space use. The plaza and plazas and are perfectly situated above the underground Moscone center complex, which is the largest conventional center in San Francisco. The Moscone Center hosts many large-scale international conferences and events year-round and attracts a large tourist and economic revenue base for the city of San Francisco.

The entire center is wonderfully designed and well planned to merge businesses, open public spaces, art and recreation areas within a confined zone. The various stages of development at Moscone Center has taken over a decade of building into a successful urban model that incorporates the needs of business, government and the community – creating synergy and well-designed public areas that serve multiple public functions. At the very least, it’s a nice place to gather and enjoy some cultural activity or eat out and go shopping in the city.
