Traveling with Eurail and Win two Eurail passes to Europe
I had just recently finished a whirlwind trip all over Europe traveling by train on Eurail and what a blast. There really is nothing like traveling by train in Europe with the extensive rail service service available through the Eurail system. Not only is traveling first class so easy and comfortable, departing and arriving directly into the central district of each destination is a big plus in my book.
Traveling by train in Europe is a special way to enjoy traveling and I really loved the convenience and flexibility to go where I please and even change my itinerary if I really wanted to stay a few more days in a particular location, which I did occasionally. Having a Eurail pass gives you that flexibility and maximizes your travel timeframe to fit your schedule and interest. So if your just dying to spend an extra day like we did in Lyon, France because it was truly a magnificent city to visit – having a Eurail pass made that extra day possible. Using the Eurail app is perfect so you can easily find the best way or alternates to traveling to your destination of choice. I found the app on my tablet necessary to use regular to check for alternates or just look up interesting options that make searching quick and easy.

Very useful post…still trying to decide of i drive or take the train…great help!
If you plan on doing a lot of urban travel then this would be ideal.
So fun. If it weren’t for these pesky kids I need to drag everywhere with me. A decade or so ago I did a bunch of traveling around Europe by train. Some of the best travels of my life.
Thank you for the link to the contest! I love to travel by train but given that my usual journey takes me from Finland to Italy or London, train is often out of question 🙁 But I always take the train when I travel inside Italy or the UK!
My favorite way of travel in Europe is by train then by car. Love that Eurail is giving an awesome giveaway.
Just to let you know, I tried sharing this on Facebook, but when other people follow the link to this page and try to fill out the survey, they get a response as if they had already filled out the survey!
Sorry, that is frustrating, I’ll have to mention this to the organizer and tell them there are some issues.
I just entered! When is the draw?
The draw is mid June time frame
We love Eurail as a family. Our recent trip to Germany was so much easier because of using the train.
I’m traveling through Europe now and am really learning to love traveling by train. I’ll need to register! Thanks Noel
I am heading off to a Eurail trip soon myself so your post just made me so excited! Amazing contest as well that you are holding. I wish everyone the best of luck!
Aah! This reminds me of my very first solo backpacking trip! Travelled around Europe for one month using the rail pass (although sadly it wasn’t in first class). Despite travelling well before the apps era, I still had lots of fun and wouldn’t mind doing it again and again.
We love using the train while traveling Europe. It’s easy, convenient and usually pretty affordable for a family.
Rail travel is a fantastic way to get around, so much more comfortable than flying the short hauls and you get to see something and take side trips along the way.
