I just love dahlias and until I got a bouquet from the hubby a few years ago that was a combination of roses and dahlias, I really didn’t know much about them. It’s amazing how many varied kinds there are. Beautiful pics.

HI Noel, your photos of dahlias are stunning. I particularly love the one with the bee; it’s very stunning.

Those Dahlias are spectacular. I have most of them in my garden here in the UK and they are a lovely thing to see at the end of the summer. The only sadness is that I know they are the last flowers of the season and Autumn will soon arrive. The weather has turned here this week and my Dahlis are losing the battle against the wind. Looking forward to seeing them again next year.

[…] There are many more gardens and hidden dells that bloom at the park at different times of the year. In early springtime, the area around the windmill closer to the ocean is planted with thousands of tulips and a gorgeous and colorful show can last up to a month time frame. Next to the the beautiful Conservatory of Flowers,  is the dahlia dell which starts putting out a stunning display around the latter part of August all the way to November and even December timeframe. I have a post of the dahlia dell in full bloom during the autumn time frame, you can take a look at the garden in it’s peak here. […]
