Thanksgiving greeting to my friends and family

It’s amazing to think that the year has gone by so quickly and it is already the end of November. This is a special time of the year to celebrate in the United States – a national holiday that talks about the American history, fall harvest and a gathering for families and friends to come together and recognize the importance of family, community and friendship.

For someone like myself traveling far away from the United States, it is so profound how important this holiday symbolizes the human spirit and goodness of sharing a meal and charity to everyone close to us, even just in spirit.  Even though I am in transit and far from family and friends, I still am thinking about them and wish everyone celebrating Thanksgiving, a wonderful holiday gathering. May it be filled with delicious food, lively conversation and spirit,  and a happy holiday celebration.
