Hapuna Beach
Hapuna beach on west Hawaii island is one of the most popular beaches on the island. Blessed with sunny days and year round dry weather, the beach is a favorite with locals and tourists alike. Soft white powdery sand and sandy bottomed beaches make it a family friendly beach for children.
The beach is a large size for island standards anchored on one end with the Hapuna Prince hotel and on the other side with small cliffs which is a popular snorkeling spot.

The surf and waves are fairly mild at Hapuna beach and pick up a little with the regular afternoon trade winds. Boogie boarding and wave skirting are very popular activities along with snorkeling on both ends of the beach where the cliffs tend to shelter more of the tropical fish below.
Hapuna Prince Hotel
Staying at the Hapuna Prince is a nice treat if you are enjoying the beautiful beach here or maybe consider just dropping by for a quick lunch poolside by the giant pool adjoining the beach. Locals love to take advantage of Kama’aina (local discounts) and stay at the hotel for the weekends or quick overnight stays.
