Luxury stay in Peschiera del Garda for- Travel Photo Mondays
I slept so soundly which was strange because I’m always fidgeting in a new place and I usually have a difficult time to fall asleep. But last night I must have been really tired because I slept up to the sunrise. I completely forgot to close the shades and the bright orange globe peeking out through the dark clouds completely illuminated the entire room – too late to close those curtains! Ah yes i remember why I was so tired. It was a full day touring around the Lake Garda area in the North Eastern part of Italy. Starting out with a tour of the lake and an amazing lunch experience followed by a cruise and then packed with a full afternoon agenda, here’s the post if you want to check it out. We didn’t get to check into our hotel Hotel La Ali del Frassino in Peschiera del Garda until 8pm and followed by an apperitivo at 9 and then followed by dinner at 10pm, normal Italian dinner, but for me – I’m truly exhausted from the packed days adventures.
Inviting late night views to the expansive pool at Hotel La Ali Del Frassino
A late night dinner affair
Greeting the sunrise
I accidentally kept my window blinds wide open last night and didn’t even think about the sunrise. The morning light was starting to make the room brighter and impossible to sleep, so I decided to get up to catch the sunrise and see the amazing day unfold over this serene lake filled with so many birds and wildlife. Watching a sunrise over a lake in the country is so different from a coastline or desert landscape. This is landscape is so subtle and it slowly unfolds with different textures and patterns coming to form with the first light. You start to notice the rolling hills and the iconic Italian cypress trees dotted everywhere.
A scrumptious breakfast with a view
And now for breakfast….
Yes more pastries please…
I love the grounds and the gorgeous classical architecture of the Hotel La Ali del Frassino combining old and new styles and modern amenities, it truly is a stunning property, don’t you think?
The architecture understated, classic and sublime
I so wish to have extra time to use this gorgeous swimming pools, well maybe for another visit….
I take in one more quick walk around the grounds and enjoy the magnificent views, I could definitely stay here a few more days and just unwind, perhaps for another trip in the near future I hope…

Hotel La Ali del Frassino swimming pool is so nice at night. Actually, swimming at night in this pool could be more fun than many other things over there.
Wow to all facets of this stay, the views, the food and that pool! I want to be there right now!
The Hotel La Ali del Frassino looks stunning and I love your early morning photos
Stunning is certainly the right word to describe this property. The grounds, the food, the views – all magnificent. Great photos.
Sunrise, healthy breakfast and a huge pool, looks really peaceful.
I would be willing to stay at Hotel La Ali del Frassino just for that breakfast buffet!
Morning is my favorite time of the day. The golden tone in your photos captures the beauiful light. The property is stunning. I would have had trouble choosing between the gorgeous pool and the tempting buffet. Would have tried to angle an extended stay!
Your sunrise photos at Peschiera del Garda are breathtaking as are the lovely grounds around the Hotel La Ali del Frassino. What a lovely place to experience and my idea of luxury at its finest!
Beautiful photos – I especially enjoyed the ethereal quality of the sunrise.
Wow. That does look like a luxurious trip. The buffets were astounding and reminded me of my time in Brazil at a seaside resort with meal choices that went on for days.
This region is glorious – And so many pockets to explore that are still unspoilt – Which is not what you were from the look of your wonderful photos! 😉
The pictures with the morning light are wonderful!
Beauty of the place is so well depicted through your photographs…enjoyed the tour through your lenses 🙂
