The nature in Australia is amazing, I’ve visited the country a few times but never had the opportunity to discover the national parks. Would love to visit all of them!
Yes Australia is blessed amazing national parks, I would also love to visit all of these.
I didn’t realize just how many National Parks there are Australia. I think the one I’d most like to explore is Kakadu National Park because of the aboriginal art. I had a class with a section on it in college and I’d love to see it in person. It’s amazing how varied these parks are as well!
The National parks are fantastic in Australia are worth visiting and seeing all these parks
I haven’t made it to Australia yet but all of these gorgeous national parks would be high on my list of things to do. I love just how varies the landscape is from park to park. I’ve dreamed of seeing Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in real life. One day!
These do look amazing to visit all the national parks.
We love visiting national parks! There is always so much beauty to be found and they can be so peaceful and relaxing, too. Australia looks like it has a ton of great options. I’d love to check out Uluru and all the rock formations at Port Campbell look so beautiful!
I would definitely do Uluru and Port Campbell, the national park system in Australia does look amazing.
This is the first time that I’m reading something exclusively about the national parks of Australia, and loved the post. I had only heard about Uluru and Kakadu, and great to know about the others. Hope to include as many as possible during my trip!
It’s nice to know something new and Australia’s national parks are not well known outside of the country
Man, I need to step my game up! I don’t think I have been to any of these and I used to visit Australia at least once a year (from NZ) with family. Australia really has a lot to offer, it’s such a diverse country. It’s one of those places you could spend an entire lifetime and never see all of it. Fantastic post!
It’s amazing how large the country is the amazing national parks you can visit in Australia
Some fabulous national parks – Australia has some of the most diverse and varied landscapes. I haven’t made it to any in WA, but am really looking forward to planning a roadtrip at some point to take in some like Purnululu National Park. You’re right that a camper van would make for an amazing trip and you could string many national parks together – what I love about Australian parks is that theyre not commercialized like many in the USA, and you can really experience pure nature 🙂
Thanks for the comment and its good to know that Australia’s national parks are as commercialized as the USA park systems
Australia’s diversity never ceases to amaze me – the diversity, and even in the national parks. I went to Port Campbell and I was completely blown away! Maybe the best way to see these is rent a caravan and travel all around the country, do you know if a membership to the parks is expensive? Thanks for the inspiration!
I took a day trip down the Great Ocean Road and saw the beautiful 12 apostles! Great Sandy National Park sounds like a park I would love to visit, I think it would be so cool to see dingos in their wild habitat. I had no idea there were so many national parks in Australia, when I was there I mostly traveled up the east coast. Next time I visit I’ll be sure to visit more national parks!
There are some amazing national parks to explore in Australia – the 12 Apostles is on my bucket list.
I took a day trip to Port Campbell National Park from melbourne and it was AMAZING! Even on a very cold and rainy day, such a beautiful area
This national park contains the Bungle Bungle range of sculpted sandstone rocks and open wilderness.
Thanks for visiting, that sounds very cool indeed exploring Australia’s national parks
Absolutely gorgeous images of amazing landscapes. I’ve visited Sydney, but l was not an outdoorsy person at that time 🙂 so l missed a lot of scenery. Perhaps it’s time for a return visit to rectify my past oversights. Thanks for sharing.
It’s interesting that most don’t think of Australia’s national parks and that they are so varied, there’s definitely a lot of the natural country that deserves to be explored.
