Some of them maybe easy day road trips or even quick getaways from where you live so I hope this inspires you to see some of the world around you even if its close by to where you live. Today we are visiting the Wynwood District in Miami.
The cool, hip at the Wynwood district
The Wynwood District is a must see area of Miami if you are really into amazing street art, the cutting edge of art, design, cuisine and cool places to hang out Wynwood. The main spot for checking out the best of the street art and graffiti can be found at Wynwood walls which is surrounded with eclectic cafes, art galleries and trendy coffee shops.
Here are more photo highlights from the area
Sculpture and street dominate the walls & courtyard in Wynwood Walls
I love to see all creativity and real street art while exploring the Wynwood Walls, this is not graffiti but famous street artists that have been invited or even paid to put their own stamp in this gorgeous community park/art center. It is such a wonderful place really shows the unique and creative efforts of the community to celebrate art, sculpture and other visually inspired creations in a central place in the Wynwood district.
Wynwood Walls is one of the fun and unique things to do in Florida and the Miami area, so If you are an Instagram fan or just want to take cool pics head out to this neighborhood.
Tip – the Wynwood walls are have restricted hours with the gates closed, so check out the details on their website for updated information and access.
Having fun against a colorful background

I never heard of the Wynwood District until reading your post and admiring your photos!! Very interesting!!
Love your ‘jumping shot’, Noel. (I’ll have to do more of those myself!) Wynwood Walls looks like a whole lot of eye candy in a small place, just my kind of thing. Have yet to visit Miami, believe it or not, so this is something to archive for when that day comes.
The street art in the Wynard district is great. I like the animal sculptures. The mural of people with masks is bizarre and interesting.
I’m sure you would definitely love a visit to this area Rhonda, it is spectacular
Nice jump, Noel. Wynwood is a great example of a formerly depressed city area being rejuvenated. Love all the colors and murals there.
I love Wynwood. Such a great place to visit, especially if you like photography!
Yes, it really is a wonderful place to explore and photograph the amazing street art.
That’s some pretty awesome street art and sculptures! I’ve got great memories of Miami — a very sexy city. Looks like the Wynwood Distrcit (which I haven’t visited) has its own fun and quirky character.
I wanted to get to Wynwood Walls when I visited Miami last June but ran out of time. This post makes me even sorrier I didn’t make. Just one more reason to go back to Miami.
It’s a perfect excuse to go back and check out some of the special places in the city that are worth exploring when you are passing through Miami area.
