I never heard of the Wynwood District until reading your post and admiring your photos!! Very interesting!!
Love your ‘jumping shot’, Noel. (I’ll have to do more of those myself!) Wynwood Walls looks like a whole lot of eye candy in a small place, just my kind of thing. Have yet to visit Miami, believe it or not, so this is something to archive for when that day comes.
The street art in the Wynard district is great. I like the animal sculptures. The mural of people with masks is bizarre and interesting.
I’m sure you would definitely love a visit to this area Rhonda, it is spectacular
Nice jump, Noel. Wynwood is a great example of a formerly depressed city area being rejuvenated. Love all the colors and murals there.
I love Wynwood. Such a great place to visit, especially if you like photography!
Yes, it really is a wonderful place to explore and photograph the amazing street art.
That’s some pretty awesome street art and sculptures! I’ve got great memories of Miami — a very sexy city. Looks like the Wynwood Distrcit (which I haven’t visited) has its own fun and quirky character.
I wanted to get to Wynwood Walls when I visited Miami last June but ran out of time. This post makes me even sorrier I didn’t make. Just one more reason to go back to Miami.
It’s a perfect excuse to go back and check out some of the special places in the city that are worth exploring when you are passing through Miami area.
